Dear Parents:

As educators, it is our job to ensure that we stay up to date with the best ways to teach your students and help them gain the skills they need ot be successful with analytical thinking, problem solving, creativity, and a plethora of other skill sets. The purpose of this learning adventure in particular is to help students learn about how to simplify polynomial expressions, which includes addtion, subtraction, multiplication, division, and figure out the best way to solve them. These activities included on this website integrate both STEM and non-STEM subjects, like enhancing their creativity with the BINGO game. I chose to include several attention getting activities and visuals for students so that they might encourage students to have a desire to learn about polynomial expressions. Futhermore, I provided a graphic organizer that will guide students through the whole learning adventure. Also, I provided some great outside sources for students to explore and learn even more if they have any difficulty during their learning experiences. I encourage you as parents to really be engaged with the child as they go through this adventure and track their progress and help them along the way. Students are also strongly recommended to extended their knowledge of this topic by reading other outside sources, such as books and website activities. Below this message, I have listed a few of my top recommendations of some workbooks that would be great for you to purchase for your child at affordable prices. There are tons of online games to make learning about polynomials even more fun too, so take advantage of them! Thank you!
